Terms & Conditions

Read these service terms with your accepted estimate, work order and our Limited Labor Warranty & Service Coverage. Ask questions before approving work. Your job documents identify the contracting service provider, authorized work, price, payment schedule and any job-specific coverage. These terms are not a substitute for notices or forms required in your individual contract.

1. Authorization and your agreement

Royal King Plumbing means the service provider identified in your accepted job documents. The customer or representative approving work must have authority to approve the scope, arrange access and accept the stated payment responsibilities. These terms form part of a service agreement when supplied or made available before approval and incorporated into that agreement. Visiting our website or requesting information does not authorize paid work.

Approval may be recorded by signature, electronic estimate approval or another agreed written method. A specific, lawfully agreed project provision controls over a conflicting general term. Mandatory legal rights remain in effect. Later invoices or website changes do not automatically add conditions, increase a price or reduce coverage on already accepted work.

2. Estimates, diagnostic fees and changes

Only the tasks, labor, materials and equipment described in the accepted scope are included. Website descriptions, photographs and preliminary telephone guidance are not an inspection of your property or a final quote. Estimate expiration dates and diagnostic, trip, after-hours or inspection charges must be disclosed before the corresponding service is authorized.

Hidden conditions or requested changes may require a revised scope. We will explain the findings and obtain approval of additional work and its price before proceeding. An accepted fixed price is not increased merely because the original work takes longer. Time-and-materials work must identify the agreed charging basis. If additional work is declined, we will explain any remaining problem or safety limitation; you remain responsible only for authorized work and other amounts lawfully due.

3. Payment, deposits and financing

The accepted estimate or work order sets the deposit, progress payments and payment due date. A payment schedule for one project does not automatically apply to every job. Cash, check, Zelle and card payment arrangements are those confirmed for your service. Verify any request to change payment instructions directly with our office.

Any permitted credit-card surcharge must be disclosed before payment, separately itemized, and comply with applicable law, processor requirements and card-network limits. This page does not impose a flat surcharge. Credit-card surcharges do not apply to debit or prepaid cards. Saving a card or making future automatic charges requires separate authorization.

Financing, mortgage approval, insurance involvement or a home-warranty claim does not itself establish payment. Any agreement to wait for third-party funds must be in writing. We do not guarantee approval or reimbursement. Late fees, interest, cancellation charges and collection costs are not created automatically by this page; they require an applicable legal and contractual basis and any required disclosure.

4. Scheduling, safe access and permits

Appointments are confirmed directly. Weather, earlier work, suppliers and inspection schedules may affect arrival windows; we will communicate material changes. A website message is not a confirmed appointment or a guarantee of immediate response. Arrange safe access, entry, parking, secured pets and any necessary tenant or building-management coordination. Disclose known hazards, shared shutoffs and relevant earlier repairs. We may pause unsafe or unauthorized work. A failed-access fee must be disclosed and authorized rather than imposed automatically.

The written scope should identify required permits, inspections and related fees. The absence of a permit line item does not authorize unlawful work. Required licensing, permit, inspection and deposit-handling duties remain applicable. Florida projects may require construction-lien notices, recovery-fund disclosures or cancellation forms in the actual agreement. This website does not replace those documents or waive statutory permit-application and commencement deadlines.

5. Existing conditions, access openings and restoration

An accessible inspection may not reveal conditions beneath slabs, behind finishes or inside existing equipment. Corrosion, brittle piping, old shutoffs, hidden leaks and previous improper work may become apparent during a limited repair. Work on one component does not certify the entire plumbing system. We will explain discovered conditions and any proposed additional work. Existing defects do not excuse careless work or remove responsibility for damage we cause. For repairs or work performed on existing or older plumbing, the limited labor warranty is 30 days from completion unless a different period is stated in the accepted job documents.

Concrete cutting, excavation, backfilling, slab repair, drywall, tile, paint, cabinetry, landscaping and other restoration are included only as described in the accepted scope. Tasks expressly included in your agreement remain included. Access work does not automatically include complete finish replacement or an exact match to aged materials. Utility locating, private underground lines, access assumptions and restoration responsibilities must be addressed before relevant work. We retain our legal duties of care; approving excavation does not make you responsible for every underground accident. Hazardous-material removal, mold remediation and sewage cleanup require an appropriate, specifically agreed scope.

6. Drain clearing, jetting and sewer inspections

Drain clearing, hydro-jetting and descaling address the agreed accessible line and conditions. These services on existing piping carry a 30-day limited labor and return-service period from completion unless a different period is stated in the accepted job documents. Restoring flow does not repair root-entry points, broken or collapsed piping, offsets, bellies or back pitch. Cleaning cannot replace deteriorated pipe material. We do not promise permanent freedom from every future blockage. Additional access, unsuccessful clearing or trapped equipment must be assessed against the authorized scope and the actual cause, not treated as automatic customer charges.

A camera inspection covers only the portions reached and visible. Standing water, deposits, bends or obstructions can limit findings. Electronic depth and location readings are estimates, not a survey or exact excavation coordinates. Reports and recordings are included when specified. An inspection is not an insurance-coverage decision, a whole-property certification or a guarantee against later failure. Ask what was observed, what remains uncertain and what further assessment is recommended.

7. Fixtures, customer-supplied products and equipment

The estimate identifies who supplies the product. Compatibility, missing parts, condition, access and manufacturer instructions must be considered before installation. Additional work requires approval. Our workmanship and a product’s factory warranty are different. A factory defect is not automatically an installation error; supplying your own product does not remove our responsibility for our installation workmanship.

Manufacturer coverage varies by model and written product warranty. We do not promise universal lifetime coverage or the same tank, parts and labor period for every brand. Ask for the applicable product warranty before purchase. Noncovered diagnosis, removal or reinstallation charges must be explained before authorization. Water-heater or softener installation does not automatically include routine maintenance, consumables or certification of drinking-water safety.

8. Residential gas work and emergencies

Residential gas-line work is limited to the approved piping, testing, repair or appliance-connection scope and applicable project requirements. Utility-controlled service, appliance internals and another trade’s work are not included unless stated. For suspected gas leakage or immediate danger, leave the area and contact emergency services and your gas utility or propane supplier from a safe location. Do not wait for an email response, website form or routine appointment.

9. Cancellation, special orders and refunds

Contact us promptly to cancel or reschedule. Where no statutory cancellation right controls, amounts due are limited to those permitted by the accepted agreement and law, such as authorized completed work or specifically disclosed, reasonable, nonrecoverable special-order costs. There is no blanket all-sales-final or all-deposits-nonrefundable rule here. Any refund calculation must account for authorized charges and the refundable balance.

Some transactions carry statutory cancellation rights and others do not. When Florida home-solicitation law or the FTC Cooling-Off Rule applies, the required notice, cancellation period and refund rules control. Starting work does not automatically waive those rights. Any emergency exception or waiver must satisfy the applicable law. Follow the cancellation instructions and notice address supplied with your contract, retain your records and do not delay a legal deadline while waiting for a response.

10. Warranty claims and completed-work concerns

Our Limited Labor Warranty & Service Coverage explains covered workmanship, drain return service and product coverage. Report concerns promptly with the address, approximate service date and description. Allow a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct our work when safe. Do not delay emergency help or reasonable action to prevent further damage. Warranty assistance is not conditional on a favorable review or surrender of lawful complaint rights.

11. Records, photographs and communications

Job records and photographs may document condition, scope, completion and service concerns. Publishing identifiable customer information or private areas for marketing requires appropriate permission. Documentation permission is not a blanket transfer of your privacy rights or ownership of your photographs and reviews.

We may respond to your service inquiry using the contact details supplied, subject to applicable consent requirements. Promotional contact requires any separately required consent and is not a condition of purchasing service. Do not send card details or sensitive personal information through ordinary email. Third-party advertising, directory, financing and insurance services do not create additional Royal King Plumbing guarantees.

12. Disputes, preserved rights and policy changes

Contact our office so we can investigate a concern and discuss a resolution. This request does not prevent legal advice, regulatory complaints, honest reviews, lawful payment disputes or access to a court. These website terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, a blanket release of negligence or a universal cap on legally recoverable damages.

Florida law and applicable federal law govern Florida service agreements, subject to mandatory protections. An unenforceable term does not remove a nonwaivable right; the remaining lawful terms continue. Updates apply prospectively and do not change earlier accepted work without a lawful agreement. Keep the version supplied with your estimate. For formal notices, use the provider’s notice address in your accepted job documents.
